Starting on May 1st and lasting until October 31st , the 2010 Shanghai Expo is expected to receive 70 million visitors, the largest number of visitors in the history of the world’s fairs. 190 countries and 48 international organizations are slated to take part in this historic chapter of the People’s Republic of China.
The theme of the Exposition is “Better City, Better Life”, a sign of Shanghai’s ambition to becoming a fully modern and cosmopolitan world city. In preparation as host for the Expo, Shanghai is reportedly spending a whooping US $45 billion building infrastructure including two new airport terminals, an extended subway system, and public toilets every 200 meters in the city proper.
From now until the opening of the Shanghai 2010 Expo, Hand-Free™ Containers will be working hard to ensure that visitors to the city will be able to enjoy Hand-Free™ snacking while seeing the sights. This is also a perfect opportunity for advertisers and companies to market their products and build awareness for their brands with our containers.
Let’s make this happen!
